PacelyTerms of Use
These terms apply to your use of Pacely, an Android app published by TNPixel ("we", "us"). By installing or using Pacely you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.
Safety first
- Exercise at your own risk. Running, walking and riding involve risk of injury. Make sure you are healthy enough, and talk to a doctor before starting or changing an exercise program.
- Do not use your phone while driving or while cycling, running or riding distracted. Start, pause and stop recording before you move, keep your eyes on the road or trail, and never look at or touch your phone when it is unsafe. Use the voice coach at a volume that still lets you hear traffic and people around you; consider one earbud or bone-conduction headphones.
- Follow traffic laws, wear a helmet when you ride, be visible in the dark and take care in heat, cold and bad weather.
- Maps and routes are aids, not guarantees. Pacely does not provide turn-by-turn navigation. Routes you draw are straight lines between your points, and GPS can be wrong or lost. Check that a route is safe, legal and open to you, and respect private land and local rules.
- Share your live location only with people you trust. Pacely shares a position link only when you tap the share button.
Estimates are not medical advice
Pacely is not a medical device. Calories, VO2max, race predictions, training load, recovery time, heart-rate zones and training plans are estimates and general guidance. They may be inaccurate and must not be used to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Stop exercising and seek medical help if you feel unwell.
Your data and content
Your activities belong to you and are stored on your device. You are responsible for backing them up (Pacely offers an optional backup to your own Google Drive for Premium users, and GPX/TCX export). Deleting the app or clearing its data deletes your activities from the phone. We are not responsible for data lost through device loss, uninstall or failures. Files and cards you share are your choice; do not share content that you do not have the right to share.
Premium and subscriptions
Free users can record without limit. Premium (monthly, 3 months, 6 months, yearly or lifetime) removes ads and unlocks extra features. Payment is charged to your Google account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. Lifetime is a one-time purchase. Refunds follow Google Play's terms. Prices may vary by country and can change for future purchases.
Acceptable use
Do not copy, reverse engineer or resell the app, do not use it unlawfully, and do not interfere with its operation or with the services it relies on. Map data comes from third parties (OpenStreetMap contributors, OpenTopoMap, Esri) and is subject to their terms and attribution; map attribution is shown in the app.
No warranty and limit of liability
Pacely is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. GPS accuracy depends on your device, signal and environment. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for injury, loss, indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Pacely, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be noted in the app or on its Google Play page. Continued use means you accept the updated terms. You can stop using Pacely at any time by uninstalling it.
